Pete Robinson
Task Leader

Since retiring from Industry in 2018 I was keen to get involved in Conservation volunteering and in 2018 I started as a Conservation Ranger with the National Trust at Quarry Bank Mill in Styal. This role entails working outdoors managing and maintaining the estate, doing things such as tree planting, tree and shrub pruning (especially invasive species), path and fence maintenance, and general management of the estate. The start of the Covid lockdowns in March 2020 affected many volunteers at Quarry Bank Mill, so I joined Trafford Wildlife carrying out similar activities on the Dunham estate. I love the outdoors and being outside, and I think it is important to look after what we have around us locally, to ensure that wildlife can thrive and maintain an environment which we can all enjoy.
